Kura Byron Bay is a traditional Japanese Izakaya. 

An Izakaya is famous for being a bar/restaurant offering high quality food and beverages.

As well as offering the fresh local seafood, and local ingredients our menu also includes a variety of Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free options.

When Kura is closed Yuki-san gives Kento the run of the kitchen to make the Bay’s worst ramen & rice bowls!!

‘Kura’ refers to a traditional Japanese storehouse used to store and protect valuable items.

Owner, Yuki-san has curated a beautiful space with art pieces and design elements that bring the traditions of home with the beautiful contemporary feel of an Izakaya Gallery.

Take-Away

Enjoy our healthy food from the comfort of home or holiday accomodation.

Our take-away food and beverage menus are available for online ordering for pick-up or delivery.

Orders including alcohol must be collected by someone 18 years or older. Photo ID may be required.
